Visionary Leadership Since 1990
Mr. Sayedur Rahman Choudhury was the first Managing Director of the company, who started his career in this sector by completing his Mechanical Engineering in 1975. Mr. Sayedur Rahman Choudhury started his own company, "Challenger Elevator and Escalator Ltd." in 1990, having been the sole agent of IGV Lifakonts from Italy. His experience in this industry totals 45 years.
Apart from having a very experienced and qualified owner, Challenger boasts a team full of experience and qualification. We have a high-profile technical team dealing with the maintenance and installation of the lifts. Even the junior executives have reasonable work experience and minimum a diploma in engineering. Both the installation and maintenance team are led by top managers, who have been loyal to this organization for a minimum of 20 years and holding educational certificates from top public universities in Bangladesh. In order to ensure prompt back up service to lifts under free maintenance / maintenance contract, we always keep adequate ready stock of spare parts, out of which fast moving spare parts are kept in head office and all branch offices, while slow moving parts are kept in our store at Dhaka, total area of which is over 5500 sft.
Moving on to the Marketing and Sales team, it is led by our Director, Mr. Gazi Kamrul Hasan, who is having an MBA degree from Newport University, Bangalore, India, has also been in this industry for the past 21 years. His experience and market recognition are parallel to none.
